However, given the number of mirrors with very good connectivity and availability in France, adding your mirror wouldn't be relevant (very little bandwidth, not updated daily, xDSL hosted with low availability). Indeed, we cannot attribute specific weights to the mirrors that are proposed during a Debian installation. Unless your mirror is used intensively on your own private network, we recommand the use of apt-proxy or apt-cacher, which would avoid not necessary downloads of packages.
