I've tried not to touch the upstream init script. README.Debian states: - VMware Server has no GUI to input the required serial number. Please run '/usr/lib/vmware-server/bin/vmware-vmx --new-sn <serial>' to create a license file. > Thanks for your work on this package - I *much* prefer to generate > packages than follow the manual route.
