Package: mlterm Version: 2.9.2-2 Severity: normal I read my mail with Mutt in a screen session, and use the uxterm terminal for that (for the moment). I had never had any display problem. I've just tried with mlterm instead of xterm, and got incorrect text positioning (see attached screenshot). This problem is 100% reproducible under the same conditions (Mutt in screen...), but I couldn't reproduce it without screen. I couldn't reproduce it either from the Mutt index (only from the Mutt pager). Also, the problem doesn't seem to be related to line graphics characters, as it also occurs when I disable threading in Mutt (so that there are no longer line graphics characters). I'm using UTF-8 locales.
I've also attached the log file that led to the display problem shown in the screenshot. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-powerpc Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages mlterm depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfontconfig1 2.3.1-2 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.3 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libfribidi0 0.10.4-6 Free Implementation of the Unicode ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.2-4 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libice6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libsm6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12 X Window System Session Management ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12 X Window System protocol client li ii libxft2 2.1.2-6 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii mlterm-common 2.9.2-2 MultiLingual TERMinal, common file ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information
