That's a good question, but its not a bug in the package itself so far as I am aware. Active development on this ceased long before there ever was an amd64 arch, so I guess the buildd blacklist has just never been updated, and you may well be the first to ever actually try it ;-) > I've recently built it from source on an etch amd64 system and it works > just fine.
