Why is it required to handle this file system in the mountkernfs.sh
script? Can it be handled by a separate script called at
approximately same time as mountkernfs.sh?

I'm not saying that I am against doing it in mountkernfs.sh, I just
want to know if it _has_ to be done there.

Happy hacking,
