(From http://www.porcupine.org/postfix-mirror/TLS_README.html)
"Postfix version 2.2 introduces support for TLS as described in RFC 3207. TLS Support for older Postfix versions was available as an add-on patch." As TLS support is now in mainline postfix and the new versions of the debian source package (2.2.2-0|1) don't generate a postfix-tls package, I would presume that tls support is now in the main package. ---------------- Thanks Jefferson Cowart [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -----Original Message----- > From: Cedric Blancher [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Friday, April 15, 2005 02:43 > To: Debian Bug Tracking System > Subject: Bug#304761: New Postfix package version (2.2.2-1) > conflicts with postfix-tls > > Package: postfix-tls > Version: 2.1.5-9 > Severity: normal > > > New Postfix 2.2.2-1) package is available and conflicts with Postfix > TLS that should be upgraded. > > -- System Information: > Debian Release: 3.1 > APT prefers unstable > APT policy: (500, 'unstable') > Architecture: i386 (i686) > Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 > Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) > > Versions of packages postfix-tls depends on: > ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: > Shared libraries an > ii libdb4.2 4.2.52-18 Berkeley v4.2 > Database Libraries [ > ii libgdbm3 1.8.3-2 GNU dbm database > routines (runtime > ii libsasl2 2.1.19-1.5 Authentication > abstraction library > ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3 SSL shared libraries > hi postfix 2.1.5-9 A > high-performance mail transport > > -- no debconf information > > > -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
