Make the following test for APC: - having no load on the ups (safer) - run newhidups -DDDDD -k -a your_ups It should do a poweroff sequence, and restart immediatly as the power is present. and to send back the following information to the list: - lsusb -vvv - /var/log/messages excerpt for the usb problems (ie if you experience usb devices disconnection) - upsc output when running newhidups (1 on battery and 1 online) - newhidups DumpTree output.
