I tried it again after removing the fglrx stuff, but it doesn't resolved the problem. I can reproduce the problem with a complete fresh installation where the system has never seen fglrx.
Could you try upgrading to Lenny/testing xserver-xorg-core 1.3 and xserver-xorg-video-ati 6.6.192 currently in experimental?
I tried it, but i lost. I've removed the both packages from the system (--force-all) and installed the new one, but it looks like there are a lot of dependencies to different librarys. is there any way to test it an after it to bring the system back in the current state?
