Hi dear maintainers,

I discovered, that aptitude in its latest version is using more than 98
percent of system power as soon as it is started. It is the same,if I do
soemthing with aptitude or I do nothing with it. The cpu power is at highest
level ! This is in 32-bit as on 64-bit-system (I have both, on different
computers)

This is very unusual, bcause it should be maximal 10 percent.

Also I discovered, that the cache is very, very slow read by
aptitude.

I cannot say, what the is reason for this behaviour. But I can
see, something is working not as normal, although all functions of aptitude
seem to work fine.

apt in the commandline is working o.k.

Regards

Hans
