I am using cron-apt with APTCOMMAND=aptitude without FILTERCRLM on some hosts for some time and the output looks just fine. APTCOMMAND=/usr/bin/aptitude MAILTO="mh+$(hostname --fqdn)[EMAIL PROTECTED]" MAILON="upgrade" DIFFONCHANGES=prepend OPTIONS="-o quiet=1" DIFFIGNORE="^\(Get:[[:digit:]]\+\|Hit\|Ign\|Del\|Fetched\|Freed\|Reading\)[[:space:]]" APT_LISTCHANGES_FRONTEND=none > > When FILTERCTRLM is gone, this bug can be closed. > > Sounds good. I didn't find the bug report that introduced FILTERCTRLM in the first place, so I cannot comment whether the issue raised therein is really fixed now.
