Hi,
it seems that planet cron files are giving output when the package itself is
removed
(REMOVE) or its dependencies (AUTOREMOVE).

log available at:
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/collab-qa/crontest/2007-08-04/logs/planet_2.0-10_sid.cronlog?op=file

reported below:
REMOVE CRON.D [] ['/tmp/crontest/planet: line 1: /usr/bin/planetplanet: No such
file or directory\n']
AUTOREMOVE CRON.D [] ['/tmp/crontest/planet: line 1: /usr/bin/planetplanet: No
such file or directory\n']

you should check if /usr/bin/planetplanet is there and executable
