Package: sasl2-bin Version: 2.1.22.dfsg1-13 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
The last config-update added 'NAME="saslauthd"' to /etc/default/saslauthd. If the root does not accept the changing to this configfile (because he had of corse did changes in this file), saslauthd can't start because /etc/init.d/saslauthd searches for this field. There is no warning at the update, no logline in the syslog - nothing. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.19.7 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages sasl2-bin depends on: ii debconf 1.5.14 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.6-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomer 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2 common error description library ii libdb4.2 4.2.52+dfsg-2 Berkeley v4.2 Database Libraries [ ii libkrb53 1.6.dfsg.1-6 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libldap2 2.1.30-13.4 OpenLDAP libraries ii libpam0g 0.79-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libsasl2 2.1.22.dfsg1-13 Authentication abstraction library ii libssl0. 0.9.8e-5 SSL shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.1-24 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip sasl2-bin recommends no packages. -- debconf information: cyrus-sasl2/purge-sasldb2: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
