Oops, since I'm not using vino that patch obviously isn't appropriate in my case... going to see if anything similar has been reported against g-c-c/g-s-d upstream. I will also need to read up a little on the murky details of keyboard mappings... if anyone has any pointers on a good summary that would be a great help.
