Hello, there is a (successful) patch for a very similar bug (#436008). Can you check if it helps for this game as well?
I tried to locate the SDL_Init call in your sources, but it seems to
be burried in some library, so you might need to reassign (and thus I
did not tag the bug +patch).
Once you made a patch please let me know so I can check it on my
machine.
