Package: gnumeric Version: 1.4.2-2 Severity: wishlist
This is not an error which makes gnumeric crash etc.. so I put is as a wishlist as it is a great annoyance when using gnumeric. The icons on the toolbar are quite big so that not all buttons fit in the toolbar. It would be nice to be able to either: 1. Reduce the icon sizes 2. Rearrange the toolbars so one gets the functions one want 3. Split over more toolbars The reason for this request is that functions such as setting background or text colour is very useful to make a spreadsheet more easy to read. Now this is very cumbersome as one have to click on an arrow and then go down the list to click the function one want. This is probably not a problem for those who has 1600x1200, but on a 800x600 or 1024x768 it is. (One can maximize gnumeric on 1024x768 to avoid the problem, but usually one work with other applications as well so it is nice not to cover the whole screen) I guess this wishlist should go upstream?
