Package: msmtp
Version: 1.4.12-1
Severity: normal

I use msmtp through mutt (set sendmail=...). A recent msmtp upgrade
rendered my email broken (silently). Nothing was printed to the log
file. I had to first determine that msmtp was the problem when my
receipients did not receive their emails. Then I had to run msmtp on
the command line, to find out that the tls_trust_file/tls_certcheck
behavior had changed during last upgrade, to require one or the other
options to be set. Problems like this should be printed to the log file
if it is enabled... silent failures are annoying :-)
