Hi folks, even if Prakash J Kokkatt confused me a bit with his report, I have the same issue. I don't use jackd but I don't think a forced deinstall of depends of xine can be called a "solution". So in my opinion the solution is quite simple: Remove the depends for the jack libs or if this would break something else one should implement a check if jackd is installed and if not it should not try to use it. I did not find anything on google for this issue, is the upstream version not affected?
