Package: libgphoto2-2 Version: 2.4.0-2 Severity: normal
Note: This problem has occurred for some months now, but in old versions of gphoto2 this problem DID NOT EXIST. It was introduced some months ago. In current (and recent) versions of gphoto2, using --delete-file on a Canon G2 camera results in the photo (.crw) being deleted but the thumbnails (.thm) not deleted. When the camera is put back into playback mode, the deleted photos appear as tiny thumbnails with the text "Unidentified image". Putting the CF card into a card reader reveals that the thumbnail files (.thm) are still there. In really old versions of gphoto2, both the photo and the thumbnail are simultaneously deleted, and the above strange behaviour did not occur. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.2 Locale: LANG=zh_TW.Big5, LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.Big5 (charmap=BIG5) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libgphoto2-2 depends on: ii adduser 3.104 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.6-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libexif12 0.6.16-2 library to parse EXIF files ii libgphoto2-port0 2.4.0-2 gphoto2 digital camera port librar ii libjpeg62 6b-13 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libltdl3 1.5.22-4 A system independent dlopen wrappe Versions of packages libgphoto2-2 recommends: pn udev <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
