Package: ia32-libs-dev
Version: 1.2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hi,
when building a simple hello-world the linker gets a parse error:
% gcc-3.4 -m32 -L /emul/ia32-linux/usr/lib -o foo foo.c && ./foo
/usr/bin/ld:/emul/ia32-linux/usr/lib/libc.so: file format not recognized;
treating as linker script
/usr/bin/ld:/emul/ia32-linux/usr/lib/libc.so:1: parse error
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
The file seems to be mangled wrongly by the ia32-libs build.
