eSpeak will give a fake wrong version of espeak-data in
some computers, like PowerPC Macs and others...

In the eSpeak ReadMe file you will find:

PowerPC and Big-Endian Processors
=================================

The compiled data in the espeak-data directory is not binary
compatible between processors with different byte ordering.
For a PowerPC or other big-endian processor use must use
data which has been compiled (using espeakedit) on a
big-endian processor.

The binary espeak-data deb package for PowerPC must
be compatible with that, and the deb-src must depend
espeakedit to make a compatible result data.
