Package: kernel-patch-evms Version: 2.5.5-7 Severity: normal Might warrant higher severity, since it may prevent the package from installing.
On a recent upgrade, I got this error: dpkg: grep-dctrl: dependency problems, but removing anyway as you request: kernel-patch-evms depends on grep-dctrl. kernel-patch-debianlogo depends on grep-dctrl. Removing grep-dctrl ... I think that dctrl-tools is now the name of the package that has those tools. My guess is the dependency needs to change to that package. If this is some indirect dependency issue, please reassign as appropriate. I don't think this is causing any problems on my system. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (990, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages kernel-patch-evms depends on: ii bash 3.1dfsg-8 The GNU Bourne Again SHell ii dctrl-tools [grep-dctrl] 2.11 Command-line tools to process Debi ii patch 2.5.9-4 Apply a diff file to an original kernel-patch-evms recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
