Running "gnome-splashscreen-manager" on my system does the following:

gnome_splashscreen_manager (LoadError)
from /usr/bin/gnome-splashscreen-manager:22
I'm fairly sure this is because I've got ruby 1.6.7 installed, and it
wants 1.8, but the package doesn't depend on it.
