Package: libavcodec-dev Version: 0.cvs20070307-6 Severity: normal It seems some library dependencies in the installed *.pc files are missing. At least -ldc1394_control, -lz, -la52, -lgsm and -ldts (probably more). I stumbeled across this, when linking libavformat and libavcodec statically. The version in Debian Etch does not have this problem. The latest upstream SVN snapshot does seem to have this problem fixed.
