That's because of art.gnome.org change: they added all old content that doesn't have valid thumbnail URIs. And gnome-art has no exception handling for that. I already prepared a patched package and now I'm waiting for my sponsor to upload it. I also contacted upstream author. He said, he will release a new version as soon as possible.
