Package: postfix
Version: 2.2.2-1
Followup-For: Bug #304920

The problem is that patches/10tls.dpatch is not being executed.
the permissions on this file are 644 instead of 755, which is
probably why dpatch is not running. In other words, you didn't
actually fix the problem in 2.2.2-1 and bug 301423 should be
reopened. I've verified the patch wasn't applied and checked
strace output on smtpd to confirm it's just running in /usr/lib/sasl2

Strangely enough, even copying smtpd.conf to /usr/lib/sasl2, the
problem reported in this bug (304920) still occurs, so there is
probably another problem in here too. Strace output shows that
the file is being loaded (from /usr/lib/sasl2) but all auth
mechanisms are still being presented.

My /usr/lib/sasl2/smtpd.conf file is:

pwcheck_method: saslauthd
auxprop_plugin: sasldb
mech_list: plain login cram-md5 digest-md5
