Hello, With the package virtualbox you should have a udev rule in /etc/udev/rules.d/ which should give this device to group vboxusers.
Please test and report :) if this file is there (which should be there) then only a restart of udev is missing (although i thought that this was working...). Greetings Winnie -- .''`.
