Package: subversion-tools Version: 1.4.2dfsg1-2 Severity: normal svn-hot-backup has a configuration directive at the top of the script to control how many backup iterations to keep, which defaults to 64:
# Number of backups to keep around (0 for "keep them all") num_backups = 64 Our repo is quite large, and we don't have the disk space to keep 64 copies. Editing /usr/bin/svn-hot-backup is required to change this value, and since the script is not a conffile, the change is overwritten when the package is reinstalled. I would include a patch, but there are other configurable items and I'm not sure if the best way is to add command line arguments for them all or have a separate configuration file. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages subversion-tools depends on: ii subversion 1.4.2dfsg1-2 Advanced version control system Versions of packages subversion-tools recommends: pn libconfig-inifiles-perl <none> (no description available) pn libsvn-perl <none> (no description available) ii liburi-perl 1.35-2 Manipulates and accesses URI strin pn python-subversion <none> (no description available) ii sendmail-bin [mail-transport- 8.13.8-3 powerful, efficient, and scalable pn xsltproc <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
