If you definitely use a recent mkisofs, then your problem with
Error: '/home/brent/backup/2007-09-04_12.30.05.790229.VTdebian.ful/ver' and
'/home/brent/backup2/2007-09-04_12.00.03.243951.VTdebian.ful/ver' have the same
Rock Ridge name 'ver'.
is caused by inapropriate CLI parameters.
If you merge more than one directory tree, you need to make sure that the merge
will have different names for all files that go into the merge.
The "genisoimage" that comes with wodim may give this message even in correct
use cases.
