It would be great if democracyplayer would deactivate the screensaver and the energy saving mode during watching videos. This would make the user experience much better. Now you have do decide wether moving your mouse every n seconds/minutes, deactivating the screensaver at all or deactivate and activate it before and after every use. This functionality is already in kaffeine. I know, kaffeine is a kde app and it works with kde.
