I can not easily check this anymore, as the machine I reported this bug on no longer runs Debian. I installed gnunet-gtk 0.7.2b-2 on another machine (which runs a testing/unstable-mix), and I get: ERROR: `mkdir' failed on file `/var/lib/gnunet' at storage.c:349 in disk_directory_create with error: Permission denied ERROR: `fopen' failed on file `/var/lib/gnunet/logs-09_10_07' at file.c:300 in GE_create_context_logfile with error: No such file or directory gnunet-gtk: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/GNUnet/libgnunetgtkmodule_fs.so: undefined symbol: NS_registerDiscoveryCallback Oh well, for the record: (504) [EMAIL PROTECTED] $ dpkg -l *gnunet\* Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description +++-==============-==============-============================================ rn gnunet <none> (no description available) ii gnunet-client 0.7.1c-2 Secure, trust-based peer-to-peer framework ii gnunet-common 0.7.1c-2 Secure, trust-based peer-to-peer framework rc gnunet-daemon 0.7.1c-2 Secure, trust-based peer-to-peer framework pn gnunet-dev <none> (no description available) ii gnunet-gtk 0.7.2b-2 secure, trust-based peer-to-peer framework ( pn gnunet-gtk-dev <none> (no description available) pn gnunet-qt <none> (no description available) pn gnunet-server <none> (no description available) ii gnunet-tools 0.7.1c-2 Secure, trust-based peer-to-peer framework I suspect there is some dependency problem.
