Package: slapd
Version: 2.3.30-5
Severity: wishlist

I was having some really big performance trouble with phpgroupware, a
web-based groupware suite.

phpgw authors suggest me to monitor performance of db backend
(postgres) and ldap backend.
Looking around in slapd docs i see that the debian default:

        loglevel 0

mean 'no log at all'. I've simply substitute with:

        loglevel none

and i've got some log row like:

        Sep 12 15:21:55 invernomuto slapd[8811]: <= bdb_equality_candidates:
(phpgwAccountID) index_param failed (18)
        Sep 12 15:21:55 invernomuto slapd[8811]: <= bdb_equality_candidates:
(phpgwGroupID) index_param failed (18)

added indexes instances to slapd.conf, rebuild them and now phpgw fly.

I'm monitoring slapd by some hour and i've not seen any more annoying
log output, so i suggest to modify the debian default for loglevel to
none.

Thanks.
