It looks like only DBus triggers this bug (it uses heavily reflection/remoting to create proxy objects for the dbus interfaces). The bug happens inside mono_class_proxy_vtable() of mono/metadata/object.c as the attached logs show. After some more investigation I found a patch that might fix this issue, it seems to also happen on ia64 and was fixed upstream after the 1.2.5 release. Please apply the patch to the debian source package of mono 1.2.5-2 (don't forget to bump the revision to 3~pre1) and test one of the dbus applications.
