Okay!! I think after reading your blog it is clear that rebuildd-init-build-system should be run first.
This could also go into the README file. OTOH, any ideas why cdebootstrap uses only codenames (etch, lenny, sid, sarge) and not the permanenet names (stable, testing, unstable) ? I am now able to run rebuildd and add a job but the job is always in wait state. Here's from the logs: 24-09-2007 18:04:44 INFO Starting rebuildd 0.2.2 24-09-2007 18:04:44 INFO Launching network server 24-09-2007 18:04:44 INFO Running main loop 24-09-2007 18:04:44 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:09:45 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:14:46 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:19:47 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:24:49 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:29:50 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:34:51 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:39:52 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:44:54 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:49:55 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:54:56 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 18:59:57 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:05:04 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:10:09 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:15:12 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:20:15 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:25:19 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:30:22 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:35:25 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:40:29 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:45:30 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:50:31 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] 24-09-2007 19:55:32 INFO Running threads: [ build 0/2 ] [ real 2 ] Any help on what I could be doing wrong now ? My ultimate goal is to have a re-build server which will automatically sync up with Debian archives and rebuild the tree and provide the packages for internal usage. I hope this is what rebuildd is also designed for.
