Package: java-package Followup-For: Bug #443964 The reason in my case is that I simple didn't know about the prepackages version. Anyway, it doesn't make a difference in this case - I've installed sun-java6-jre and the same thing keeps happening. I have some new information however: "javaws -viewer" also crashes. I conclude that there is a problem with javaws.
Attached you will find the BugBuddy report from javaws crashing, minus the .xsession errors which didn't contain anything useful and did contain some personal information. I hope this new information is helpful. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22 Locale: LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages java-package depends on: ii debhelper 5.0.56 helper programs for debian/rules pn fakeroot <none> (no description available) ii libasound2 1.0.14a-2 ALSA library ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii unzip 5.52-10 De-archiver for .zip files java-package recommends no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
