Package: httping Version: 1.2.1-1 Severity: normal httping's "-l" option is not available. I only get a list of supported options ( which does not include "-l" ). I tested with this parameters: httping -l -c 1 -g https://www.google.de
The "-l" option is listed in httping's manpage. If i compile httping from source, using Debian's httping_1.2.5.orig.tar.gz , this parameters work with the resulting httping binary (using makefile "Makefile", not "Makefile.nossl"). httping depends on openssl for binary and libssl-dev for building it, so i don't understand why using ssl is not supported. I also couldn't find a notice on license issues in /usr/share/doc/httping. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-686 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages httping depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii openssl 0.9.8c-4etch1 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a httping recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
