Hello Andreas, wow, that's what I call a fast reaction.

Its not exactly the same, > especially when editing different positions in the same file... Yes, that's close and without doubt a great functionality to go back to your last edit position after using some of the manifold navigation features and I already assigned shortcuts to these but you have to use two different shortcuts to switch back and forth. > > Are you sure the changes proposed on > > http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147134 solve this problem? > > No, indeed I misunderstood what you wanted and didn't pay enough > attention to the ui-string of that shortcut. Maybe the functions should be renamed to gotoLastAccessedWindow and gotoFirstAccessedWindow since "accessed" is the keyword in this functionality. > Well, for header/impl I usually use the Switch-Header-Impl shortcut. (OK, I just found out: Shift+F12 is globally assigned to some kind of voice recognition in khotkeysrc.) > > Unfortunately the keys Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab seem to be hardwired > > to the same functionality as Alt+Right respectively Alt+Left. > > Yes, thats hardcoded inside Qt's tab widget :( OK, I see. Maybe I should file a wishlist entry at Trolltech since Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab are pretty standard for toggling documents in MDI applications. But at least it would be great if the functionality of "First/Last Accessed Window" could be provided again as back in the pre 3.4.x versions.
