Package: sg3-utils Severity: normal This bug popped up when I went translating this package's description for the DDTP, in French.
Listing each and every utility in the package makes the description insanely long, and therefore turns translation into a huge PITA. I don't really see the benefit for our users to know *in the package description* what does each utility provided by this package. Moreover, having it in the description means changing the list as soon as an utility is added. I suggest simply removing that giant list and move it into a README.Debian file.....if it is not already somewhere in upstream's README files. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
