network-manager-(openvpn,vpnc) have been split into a core package and a gnome-specific package. This means, no more gnome dependencies for the vpn plugins used in knetworkmanager. The new vpn packages are currently in NEW and will soon enter the archive. When that happens I'm going to close this bug.
