Package: localization-config Version: 0.113 Severity: normal Denis Barbier belocs-locales-data is an interesting alternative to the locales package. While installing it on my system, locales was removed as both packages logically conflict.
I then got a warning about localization-config depending on locales. Kostas, could you consider having l-c depend on "locales|belocs-locales-data"....or, Denis, could you maybe have belocs-locales-data provide "locales". This could become an increasing request if the belocs packages are gievn an increased importante (and I intend to promote them through later d-i development). -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR.UTF-8) Versions of packages localization-config depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.48 Debian configuration management sy ii libapt-pkg-perl 0.1.13 Perl interface to libapt-pkg ii libconfig-inifiles-perl 2.38-3 Read .ini-style configuration file pn locales Not found. ii perl-base 5.8.4-8 The Pathologically Eclectic Rubbis -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
