Package: fglrx-driver Version: 8.40.4-2 Severity: normal When choosing Applications -> System Tools -> New Login in GNOME, a new Xorg session is started on VT8. This worked fine with fglrx before version 8.38, but since 8.38 (and also in 8.40), this causes the screen to go black with an Xserver hangup.
