Package: aptitude Version: 0.4.6.1-1.1 Severity: normal In the ncurses interface, when i update, aptitue often crashes. I started it within gdb: i can see that it freezes while deleting old/useless packages. But as i don't have debug info, the stacktrace is meaningless.
How i can get debug symbols for aptitute ? -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fr_FR.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages aptitude depends on: ii apt [libapt-pkg-libc6.6-6 0.7.6 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii libc6 2.6.1-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.2.2-3 GCC support library ii libncursesw5 5.6+20071006-3 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.0.17-2 type-safe Signal Framework for C++ ii libstdc++6 4.2.2-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages aptitude recommends: pn aptitude-doc-en | aptitude-do <none> (no description available) pn libparse-debianchangelog-perl <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
