Package: libmodule-build-perl
Version: 0.2808-0.1
Followup-For: Bug #441987
Hello,
I just happily updated libmodule-build-perl and got tons of lintian errors
for bioperl, still. Well, a quick grep helped to elucidate the issue:
/usr/share/perl5/Module/Build/Base.pm: my $parser = Pod::Man->new(
section => '1pm' ); # binaries go in section 1
There are no modules that are executable and therefore go into section
1. Section '1pm' as in the latest version is hence wrong. And for some
reason not completely known to me, lintian expects the section to be
'1p', instead of a plain '1'.
My previous patch was correct in lintian's view, I just crosschecked, so
please do not blame the messenger :o)
Kind regards
Steffen
I'll refrain from uploading BioPerl until this is fixed.
