The manual page reads:
--lockfile file
The lockfile to use, default $lockfile.
The problem is in /usr/bin/debarchiver where the POD tried to
include contents of variables:
=item B<--lockfile> file
The lockfile to use, default $lockfile.
This is not possible in Perl. The POD is treated verbatim.
SUGHGESTION
Please write the location of the lockfile(s) as is.
