Hej Øyvind

I understand your view. However I do not know if this is a good
solution. The reason is not that I do not agree with you in general
but because of the simple fact that I have got much more complaints
(over the years) that my software send too much emails instead of
too few.

That would be an option. However debconf choices tend to be very complicated
to implement in a good way, and there are many other options that could be
configured using debconf. So which options should I select? :)

I understand. I will change my mind if it seems to be a general
consensus about this. Hope you will not mind too much.
