Package: heimdal-kdc Severity: wishlist Hi,
For various reasons that I won't go into here, I find myself having to propagate a MIT Kerberos database to heimdal slave servers. If I read the documentation correctly (please correct me if I'm wrong), that is done by running hprop with the --source=mit-dump parameter. However, before I can do that, I have to get this mit kerberos database dump to the hprop binary first. It would seem that the easiest way to accomplish this is not to copy any file at all to another machine, but just to run hprop on a MIT KDC, leaving security to hprop. Unfortunately, hprop is packaged as part of heimdal-kdc, which conflicts with krb5-kdc, the MIT version of the same software. It would be wonderful if installing the hprop program was possible on a machine running MIT krb5. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: arm (armv5tel) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-iop32x Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
