Package: aptitude Version: 0.4.6.1-1.1 Severity: normal Since the latest upload of apt set the default of APT::Install-Recommends to yes, aptitude --without-recommends install <pkg> doesn't seem to override that. On the other hand, aptitude --without-recommends -o APT::Install-Recommends=no install <pkg> does seem to work properly. -- Daniel Schepler
