I can confirm that 0.5.7-2 (in unstable) indeed gives the order Paul
described, and I agree it's hard to use.  I still haven't checked
0.5.6-2 yet.

It's an upstream change, so I can't give a definitive answer, will
investigate further.

Definitely.  If a patch is provided I'd be happy to test, apply to
Debian package, and push upstream.  And it would be best if someone who
uses Zhuyin can provide a patch, as I don't use it myself, and I've been
busy these days.
