Package: lsb-base
Version: 3.1-24
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

to start a daemon that does not write its pidfile itself, it might be
needed to pass the --background and/or --make-pidfile to
start-stop-daemon. Ths lsb-base function should offer a possibility to
do so.

Greetings
Marc
