I have packaged up the latest version of the module here: http://ifup.org/~philips/packages/python-gdata_1.0.9-1.dsc
It is tested and works with gcalcli.
Pierre: If Stratus doesn't respond could you perhaps do a NMU? This bug
is really old and packaging the new version was trivial.
