Hey, it is *great* that you found an *official* reference for 4217 ! Last time I checked (see Changelog for 1.5), the British Standards Organization, which is the official MA for 4217, was *not* providing the standard content for free. So, I tried to fix our list with Wikipedia data, which is suboptimal. So, the reference you found on ISO-4217 could really help us tracking down changes to that standard (assuming that this list is kept updated by ISO). This list is interesting. It seems to show that the standard actually lists *two* names for currencies: a common name (Rouble) and a full name (Russian Rouble), or something like this. I don't know whether we could improve the XML file by having both. I suspect that "common names" would have *many* duplicates (a lot of "Franc", "Pounds", "Rouble", "Peso"....). Would be interesting to chack more carefully, anyway. In case you're interested to help us, by the way, the door is opened, as we say in French..:-)
